The fifth and decisive set started with 2:0 lead of VakifBank, however Fenerbahce tied the score thanks to the ace of Babat Nur – 2:2. Serve was perhaps the strongest weapon of Yellow Angels in the tie-break, and after the ace of Polen Uslupehlivan they took over the lead at 4:3! Then Milena Rašić spiked the ball into out – 5:3, as well as Sheilla Castro in the next attack – 6:3. Giovanni Guidetti had to call for a time-out.

VakifBank returned from a short break determined to make a comeback and they reduced the deficit to 6:5… But, then Kim Yeon-Koung stepped on the scene. Korean star scored for 7:5, then she made an ace for 8:5… When Sheilla Castro spiked the ball into the net it was 10:6 for Fenerbahce Kim made sure that her team hold that margin. She scored for 12:8, then for 13:9… Yellow Angels took the next two points as well and won the tie-break and the match. Fenerbahce won the Turkish Cup!

It is also important to mention that the new Cup winners played the whole game without Madelaynne Cicedo Montano, but Kim was there to score for both of them. Korean star finished the match with 35 points!
