Turkey – USA
US team beat the hosts, Turkey and caused second loss to its opponent in the competition – 3-1 (25-20, 17-25, 25-16, 25-21) in Pool C in Ankara.
Karsta Lowe with 25 and Kelsey Robinson with 13 points were American engines that led them to important triumph in front of a noisy crowd in „Başkent Volleyball Hall“.
On the other side, Neriman Özsoy showed a fantastic performance with 25, followed by Polen Uslupehlivan with 14 points.
In Group 2, the Netherlands are still unbeaten after a straigh-set win over Argentina, while in Group 3, Kenya beat Australia in three sets.
