Turkish side proved it after today’s match. They beat Germany in four sets 3-1 (27-25, 23-25, 25-16, 25-17).
After taking the first set, Germany answered in the second and tied the score in sets 1-1. What happened next?
Turkey , in front of their loud fans, started playing some kind of volleyball from another planet and simply smashed the rival!
Akman was very good with 18 points, while Erdem added 16. On the other side, Maggie Kozuch scored 12 points. With this victory, Turkey have secured the spot in the semifinals.
