They have already made several important transfers like signing Cagla Akin and two Belgian stars Lise Van Hecke and Helene Rousseaux, while one more player is about to join Besiktas this summer.
According to voleybolunsesi.com, Yoana Palacios Mendoza will play for the black and white crew in the next season. Mendoza is a Cuban receiver who was part of Rabita Baku (Telecom) in the previous season.
With this transfer Besiktas have formed a very respectful team for the next season. We will see if that will be enough for the Istanbul club to be a worthy rival to the city powerhouses like VakifBank, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Eczacibasi VitrA.
