Three youngsters – Zehra Güneş and Tuğra Şenol from VakıfBank İstanbul and Yasemin Güveli from Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul as well as İmperial Hastanesi İdmanocağı’s veteran Gizem Giraygil are new members of Beşiktaş.
The 17-year-old Güneş is a middle blocker of Turkey’s Junior National team, while 18-year-old Şenol is the receiver/outside hitter loaned to Division 2 team Tarsus Belediyespor last season.
As for Güveli, she is the middle blocker of Turkey’s Junior NT, just like Güneş, but even younger – the 17-year-old!
The 30-year-old Giraygil returned to Beşiktaş after four seasons.
