After landing at İstanbul „Atatürk“ Airport on its way to Tehran for the 2016 FIVB World League (July 1-3) last night around 22:00 (CET), only an hour upon terrorist attack at the airport in which 36 were killed and 150 injured (according to the latest info), Serbia’s National Team was ordered to stay in its plane until midnight (CET).
Due to its safety, delegation of Serbian NT had to wait about 6,000 people to be evacuated from the airport building in order to leave the plane and finally arrived to one of Istanbul hotels around 3:00 (CET) where it has spent the night.
It is yet unknown when will Serbia depart to Tehran, since Istanbul airport will be closed until further but some information say they might take off late this afternoon.
