“It was kind of expected that we reach the semis. I somehow have the feeling that all eyes are pointed to us. But, we are playing together for only month and half, so there are many things that are still not at the highest level. I think that we are currently not showing the 50% of what we can actually do. Still, we need to be satisfied with these wins and to be patient about reaching the best form.”
Serbian player added that it does not matter who are they going to play against in the semifinals.
“There is a big rivalry in Turkey between Eczacibasi and VakifBank and it would definitely be an interesting final match. At the same time, we played a friendly match against Volero Zurich before this tournament and we lost that match in straight sets. I think that result was not the real picture when you compare the strength of two teams, so perhaps it would be good to face them in semis and prove that on court.”
