Halkbank
Halkbank coaching staff obviously needs more time to properly compose the squad consisted of big volleyball stars but still, they scored third victory in four games in the Turkish league, 3-2 against Tokat Belediye Plevne.
Burutay Subaşı with 24 and Serbian Ivan Miljković with 19 points led Halkbank. Bulgarian Martin Atanasov topped Tokat with 21 points.
Arkas Spor İzmir prevailed in big derby over Fenerbahçe İstanbul to continue breathing down Halkbank’s neck in the standings. Arkas surprisingly won in straight sets. Gökhan Gökgöz highlighted winning team with 23 points while Slovenian Alen Šket had 14 in ’Fener’.
