Özkan Mutlugil was elected President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation by the General Assembly in Ankara and was attended by CEV President André Meyer. He was Secretary General of the Balkan Volleyball Association.

Mr. Mutlugil (pictured), a former Volleyball player, who had worked as Secretary General of the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA) for the past few years got a total of 100 votes by the delegates in attendance while outgoing President Erol Ünal Karabiyik received 81.
