Halkbank
The first set has practically decided the outcome of the game. After amazing battle, home team has managed to win this part of the game 30-28 and to take the lead in sets 1-0. Away side didn’t want to surrender that easy. Playing much better in the second set, they tied the score in sets 1-1.
Again, the third set was very uncertain. Halkbank were much more focused on the finish line, creating a new lead in this important game 2-1. It has given moral boost to the home side and in the fourth set they hammered the rival to end the game in four sets 3-1.
Buruti Subasi was the top scorer with 26 points (6 aces), while Ivan Miljkovic and Felipe Fonteles adedd 17 points each.
The first placed team in the league Fenerbahce have clinched the spot in the winners stage, after beating MSK URFA on the road 3-1!
Istanbul BBSK are still sinking below the position that leads into the winners stage. They were defeated by Afyon in four sets 3-1 (25-22, 25-19, 20-25, 25014).
