The 23-year-old Zhu renewed contract with VakifBank for one more season in which she expects many trophies:
“Last season we have been champions of the CEV Champions League and Club World Championship, and this season our main goal is to win all trophies” explained Zhu who added that Chinese volleyball fans started interested in the Turkish volleyball and Vakifbank because of her:
“With me, more people in China started to like volleyball and I want to thanks them because they always support me,” said the MVP of the Champions League and Club World Championship, who believes that her team can win the Turkish Championship and lift a trophy in 2017/2018.
