Eczacibasi
It seems that a team of coach Marco Aurelio Motta finally has the recipe for the mighty Vakifbank since that they also were defeated by the Giovanni Guidetti team in the final of the Turkish Cup 2018. But Eczacibasi are leading – today, for the second time they outplayed the European and World champions and this time in straight sets.
Although they played only three sets Tijana Bošković was the leader with 15 points while Vakifbank didn’t have a motivated player. The captain Gözde Kirdar Sonsirma was the best on the net with 9 points but the whole team put 12 blocks.
We must say that Vakifbank in 2017/2018 have a score of 24 wins and 2 defeats while Eczacibasi 22 wins and 2 defeats.
Another great game was played between Beylikduzu and Cannakale. The home team defeated the rival in five sets 3-2 (24-26, 25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 19-17) thanks to great performances of Jana Kulan, who scored 35 points and Ceren Kestirengoz, who finished the game with 20 points.
Fenerbahce had an easy victory over Ilbank 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-14). Polen Uslupehlivan had 19 points.
