The second-seed Arkas Spor lost to No.7 Maliye Piyango, for which Estonian Oliver Venno scored 24 points (3 aces, 3 kill blocks) and Serbian Mihajlo Stanković made 82% reception (17 digs, 53% perfect), by a 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-23). Arkas played without their best scorer, Cuban Michael Sánchez Bozhulev.
No.3 Fenerbahçe succumbed to No.6 Galatasaray by a 3-2, while the fourth-seed Ziraat Bankası suffered a defeat to No.5 İstanbul BBSK by the same result.
