In the third match of the quarterfinals, Galatasaray outplayed Halkbank with 3-1 (25-11, 12-25, 25-13, 25-15) and with 2:1 in series moved to the next stage of the competition.
Russian star Tatiana Kosheleva and Sinead Jack scored 16 points each while the player from Trinidad and Tobago scored also 7 blocks. Captain Neslihan Demir Guler finished the match with 14 points while Dobriana Rabadzhieva 10 points.
Halkbank this time didn’t have power for the win and the Cuban attackers once again were the best in their team: Wilma Salas Rosell 12 points and Daymi Ramirez 10 points.
In the semifinals, Galatasaray will face Vakifbank .
