No.6 Hebar Pazardzhik pulled off a stunner against third-seed CSKA on the road, 3-1 (25-21, 13-25, 25-19, 25-21). Mincho Minchev topped Hebar with 14 points. The Macedonian Aleksandar Ljaftov made 77% attack (10/13, blocked twice), while Martin Simeonov recorded 79% reception (24 digs). Plamen Shekerdjiev scored 14 points for CSKA, whose captain Ivaylo Stefanov made 82% attack (9/11, blocked twice).
No.2 Montana beat No.7 Dobrudja 07 by a 3-1, while No.4 Pirin Razlog outplayed fifth-seed Levski Sofia by a 3-0.
