„For me and society it was the most interesting and the most difficult semifinals round over the past years. We as a team want to give a gift to Turkish airlines family and finish the season as Champions,” says Turkish Airlines Sports Club General Secretary, Ramazan Yıldırım.

We are happy to see the development of the Turkish volleyball and to be part of it. Eight teams in the semifinals round made investments which took the quality of second division to more higher quality.”

Turkish Airlines team played against Manisa, Bolu and Karayolları teams in the semifinals round in Kutahya city and qualified with 7 points for finals round.

Recall that after playing many years in first division Turkish Airlines Sports Club stoped volleyball activities after the 1993-94 season.

In 2016 with directions of clubs president Ilker Aycı, the club started volleyball activities and started to play from 3rd division. After making a success in the last season they qualified to play in the second division and now the target is the first division of Turkey which is called Sultans League.
