Out of 3 matches between two teams, this one was with the most uncertainty as China needed five sets to overcome the home team – 3-2 (27-29, 25-21, 19-25, 25-19, 17-15). Previous two games, played in Honolulu (Hawaii) ended in straight sets.

Third match was held in Irvine (California) while the fourth, on June 12, will be played in the same state, but in a different city – in San Bernardino.

The MVP of the 2015 Asian Championship, Zhu Ting led all scorers with 27 points. Zeng Chunlei and Zhang Changning had 14 each in the victory of China.

The best scorer in US team was the opposite Karsta Lowe (new player of Italian Busto) with 19 points, followed by Foluke Akinradewo (recently hired by Swiss Volero) with 17.
