Kiraly has chosen 22 players (six receivers, six blockers, four setters, three opposites and three liberos) for the clashes in Group 1 of the World Grand Prix. USA will host one of the weekends (June 17-19).
Interestingly, despite making a special contract to Destinee Hooker on her return to the NT, she was not on Kiraly’s preliminary list. It is not known if she refused the contract or US coaching staff still waits for her respond. Hooker is not even among three players (Bartsch, Dixon and Miyashiro) which are practicing or rehabbing in a training center in Anaheim.

Setters: Alisha Glass, Courtney Thompson, Carli Lloyd, Molly Kreklow
Liberos: Kayla Banwarth, Natalie Hagglund
Middle blockers: Lauren Paolini, Rachael Adams, Lauren Gibbemeyer, Christa Dietzen, Foluke Akinradewo, Alexis Crimes
Receivers/outside hitters: Cassidy Lichtman, Kristin Hildebrand, Jordan Larson, Megan Easy, Kim Hill, Kelsey Robinson, Krista Vansant
Opposites: Kelly Murphy, Nicole Fawcett, Karsta Lowe
