Noliko welcomes triple champions from Italy for opening of Playoffs 12
“This is a unique opportunity for my young players to display their full potential while playing the best Volleyball team out there. My guys fully realize this and since we have been playing excellent Volleyball so far, I do hope we’ll be a tough opponent also for TRENTINO” says the head coach of Noliko MAASEIK, Vital Heynen.
In order to save some energy for this game which is seen as the real highlight of the season, Noliko played on Sunday by lining up 5 players from the youth group eventually losing 1:3 to Prefaxis MENEN (25-21, 25-27, 14-25, 21-25).
This defeat does anyway not influence at all the standings of the national league where Noliko has already booked the first place and will start from there its campaign in the Playoffs.
TRENTINO PlanetWin365 is also playing in full swing having edged Lube Banca Marche MACERATA in straight sets this Saturday thereby claiming a margin of 6 points while comfortably topping the charts of the national league.
Head coach Radostin Stoytchev was very happy with this result but still does not take a win against Noliko for granted: “We shall not underestimate our opponents as Noliko has got a very good team and we have a difficult match coming up in a splendid sports hall that will be filled up with enthusiastic fans” he says.
