Stanković, Kolaković, Brđović and Petrić

On Wednesday morning, Serbian players and stuff will travel in Havana. Press conference was held in Belgrade on that occasion.

Coach Igor Kolaković and players Dragan Stanković, Aleksa Brđović and Nemanja Petrić, made their appearance on behalf of the European champions.

Kolaković praised the Cuban team and expressed hope that the Serbians will win in both matches: “Those will be very important away games in the World League. The Cuban team is weakaned, because Leon and Diaz won’t play, but still it is the team with a great potential, especially dangerous when they play in Havana. I hope that we will make a good perforance and win. It would give us a good chance to fight for the Final Tounament“.

Middle blocker and a captain of the Serbian team Dragan Stanković emphasized:  “If we play good, there won’t be any problems. We will do our best, but because only two teams from our group, instead of three, will go to the Final Tournament, every match is important“.

First match between The Serbian and Cuban national team will be played in Havana on Friday, June 7th, and a second encounter will also be held in Cuban capital, on June 8th.

Both matches will start at 8:40PM.
