After the “miracle” they celebrated in Turkey’s megalopolis, the officials of Dinamo hope that as many fans as possible will get together at “Sala Polivalenta” to help the local heroines claim their first home win in the competition.

We got back from Istanbul on Friday and that same evening we have traveled to Bacau for the next round of the national league. We lost 1:3 to Stiinta but this does not really matter, as our main priority at the moment remains the CEV Volleyball Champions League. We want to cause another sensation and edge Galatasaray also here at home. The feeling we got on Thursday is incredible and so we want to offer that same joy also to our fans” says team manager Marian Stefan. “We have never scored a home win in Europe’s most elitist competition and time has finally come for this”.

We are going through a very demanding schedule and playing only strong opponents” adds the local head coach Branko Kovacevic. “We have realized where we stand and our value, so in the next matches we can only improve and increase the quality of our performance. I fully trust my players; we beat Galatasaray in Istanbul, so we can do the same once more also here at home. I am glad that Romania’s Volleyball fans will have the opportunity to see some of the world’s best players, like for instance Lo Bianco, Gioli and Calderon, in action here. Tuesday will contribute a great Volleyball night”.
