Dinamo was still missing the contribution of its two foreign players and wing spikers, Bartosz Kurek and Peter Veres, and showed major problems in reception, where Nikolay Pavlov and Alexey Ostapenko could not compensate for the absence of that classy foreign duo.
As they get ready to host PGE Skra for the fourth round of play in Pool E of the CEV Volleyball Champions League, Dinamo will have to fix the problems showed in the previous matches while the medical staff will try to get Kurek and Veres back on track. Only via a home win Dinamo will keep some chances to finish first in the group at the end of the League Round and hence the game will be certainly interesting and played at the highest level by both sides.
“Last week in Poland we did not fail completely” says Dinamo head coach Yuri Cherednik. “We fought on equal terms, PGE Skra is evidently a strong team but they were also helped by their fans who packed the arena in Lodz. The match in Moscow will be totally different and we hope we can count on Kurek and Veres. We are preparing quite intensively and carefully”.
