Atom Trefl claimed on Saturday its last match in the national league by edging Siodemka LEGIONOWO in three sets and the hosts feel hence well ready for this deciding fixture whereby their fate in the European Cups will be determined.
“We claimed the game with LEGIONOWO and so we got the right boost for our clash with VILLA CORTESE. This match is extremely important for us as we want to make it to the Playoffs” says head coach Adam Grabowski, who has replaced previous mentor Jerzy Matlak since this past Thursday.
“This match is a kind of all or nothing for us” adds opposite player Klaudia Kaczorowska. “Its result will open or close the door to continue our campaign in this competition. If we lose, we’ll play the Challenge Round of the CEV Cup, but if we win, we’d make it to the Playoffs and that would be just great”.
On the other hand, Italy’s AsystelCarnaghi VILLA CORTESE – after losing this past week to Pool leader Rabita BAKU – also needs to score a positive result to make it to the Playoffs 12, so all pre-conditions are there for a memorable Volleyball night.
