Zenit Kazan
Zenit Kazan have officially won all games in the 2016/17 Russian Championship Regular Season! They had 26 wins out of 26 rounds and obviously seized the 1st place on the standings.
In the last round of the regular season, Zenit Kazan defeated Orenburg on the road after a tie-break. The home team made quite a resistance to the most powerful club in the country, they needed the win to escape the last place on the standings, but at the end they came just a few points short.
If something does not change over the summer, it means that Orenburg will play in the second division in the 2017/18 season.
