Support for kangaroos
“It is something unusual but still very positive” says team captain Izabela Belcik. “We shall care about each other every single day but animals do also need to be protected. Last year we also donated the money from our piggy bank to a similar action. This time we are going to support the kangaroos living the zoo of Gdansk. I had much fun and it was a great experience for me to enter their cage, feed them, etc. but all other players were excited too”.
Why did the team opt for kangaroos?
“They are very cute and nice animals” Belcik continues. “Very bouncy and tall. Taking all these features into account, I think that they somehow embody the true quintessence of any Volleyball player” Belcik stresses with a smile.
