In a mid-season transfer, Polish volleyball player Krystian Walczak has left PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów to join South Korean club Ansan OK Savings Bank OKman. Walczak, a 23-year-old opposite hitter, was approached by the Korean club, despite initially signing with Skra Bełchatów for the season.
Walczak expressed excitement about the opportunity, stating, “I’m grateful to Skra Bełchatów for supporting this move, which is an incredible chance for my development.” Skra Bełchatów’s president, Wiesław Deryło, acknowledged the decision’s complexity, balancing both the club’s needs and Walczak’s growth prospects.
The 212 cm player had participated in seven matches for Skra Bełchatów this season, primarily in short tactical roles. He joins Ansan OK Savings Bank OKman as they seek to improve their current record of one win in four matches this season.
