After winning the eighth French Men’s Volleyball Championship title, Tours made several changes in their roster for the 2019/20 season.

As it is known from earlier, Tours appointed country’s legendary libero Hubert Henno head coach and hired Nicolas Rossard from Berlin Recycling Volleys, Germany, to replace him in the roster.

As far as other transfer activities recently, Tours signed American middle blocker Daniel McDonnell from Tourcoing. A 30-year-old player actually returned to Tours after four seasons.

Prior to McDonnell, the Ligue A Masculine champions engaged another American, also a middle blocker – Price Jarman (Vôlei UM Itapetininga, Brazil), Czech setter Matyáš Démar (VK Lvi Praha, the Czech Republic), his compatriot – outside hitter Adam Bartoš (Nice, returned to Tours after three years), and Serbian outside hitter Konstantin Čupković (Fenerbahçe, Turkey, returned to Tours after one season).
