The reigning Polish Women’s Volleyball Championship winners ŁKS Commercecon Łódź signed their first newcomer for the 2019/20 season.

Slovenia national team member Eva Mori reinforced the reigning Liga Siatkówki Kobiet titleholders ŁKS for the next season.

A 23-year-old setter has been playing abroad since she was 17 years old. Three years ago, Mori won the Italian Cup with Zanetti Bergamo. In 2018, she claimed the French Championship title with Béziers and then moved to Le Cannet (former Volero Zürich) with whom she reached the playoff semifinals in the club’s first season in the French league upon relocating from Switzerland. Mori was awarded Best Setter of the 2014 CEV U19 European Championship and 2017 FIVB U23 World Championship.

The Slovenian player came to ŁKS to replace the Czech international Lucie Mühlsteinová who left the club. The middle blocker Zuzanna Efimienko-Młotkowska also departed earlier (DevelopRes SkyRes Rzeszów).

The opposite hitter Izabela Kowalińska extended the deal with the Łódź team for the fourth straight season and was followed by the Best Blocker of the 2018/19 Polish league Klaudia Alagierska.

TUR W: VakıfBank’s hellish plan – Bartsch to come in January, Egonu in summer!

Re: @Anon - Zhu Ting is not gonna go anywhere till Olympic is over. Wrist injury gonna take sometime to heal and recover. Hopefully She will fully fit before Olympic. Otherwise defending the title is almost impossible for China without Zhu Ting.

If Zhu Ting is still hurt or injured during the tournament, the coach can use her as a middle blocker. I feel she is the best blocker on the team. She has great instincts of where the hitter will hit to, she is tall and her hang time is very good. She is one of the more effective blockers against Egonu.

Thailand win title in Women’s Volleyball at SEA Games for 12th successive time

The different in strength and overall qualities of the team between Thai and the rest are just too great . Thai can still win even with their reserve members. Reply

CL M: Benfica shock Warszawa to record first-ever triumph in pool stage

VERVA Warszawa's defeat was due to Anastasi who too underestimated his opponent.
Starting lineup of VERVA in the match included 4 players who rarely played in the domestic league.

In order to make it to the playoffs, VERVA had to win this match against the weaker team but lost.
Therefore, it became very difficult for VERVA to pass through the group.
