Boyer signed with the Qatari club Al-Arabi Doha.
Just a day after leaving Italy’s Verona against all expectations, the agent of a 24-year-old opposite hitter had announced on social media the new destination of his protégé. The club for which the Best Scorer of the 2017 FIVB World League signed was a champion of Qatar 25 times and also won several international titles (Asian Club Championship in 2012, The Gulf Clubs Champions Club Championship in 2010, and Arab Club Championship in 2003).
In Qatar, Boyer will be the rival to his countryman Antonin Rouzier, who signed with Al-Rayyan last spring.
