POL M: Major changes in Resovia – Bartman to sign, negotiations with Conte in progress

The biggest market hit the Plus Liga giants Resovia for the next season is going to be the return of Zbigniew Bartman to the club. Although neither the player nor Resovia confirmed the transfer of ex-Poland national team opposite hitter, the sources of Przegląd Sportowy said it is a done deal. Bartman is currently competing for UPCN San Juan Voley Club in Argentina.

The other big hit might be Argentina national team member Facundo Conte, who used to wear the jersey of Resovia’s fierce rivals PGE Skra Bełchatów. Unofficially, Facundo’s manager and also his father Hugo Conte set the figure of € 250,000 for a season for EMS Taubaté Funvic player, which is too much for Resovia at the moment.

The Rzeszów side will also hire GKS Katowice head coach Piotr Gruszka and three players from this team: Belgian outside hitter Tomas Rousseaux, setter Marcin Komenda, and libero Bartosz Mariański. Jakub Jarosz will go in the opposite direction. Resovia also aim Canadian Nicholas Hoag, Serbian Marko Ivović and Grzegorz Kosok.

Frenchman Thibault Rossard and Mateusz Mika will leave Resovia, while Rafał Buszek and Rossard’s compatriot Nicolas Szerszeń will probably be loaned to another club.
