Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom officially announced that Paweł Woicki will remain as the head coach for the upcoming 2023/2024 PlusLiga season.
Woicki initially joined the team as a player for the 2022/2023 season, when Jacek Nawrocki was the head coach. However, Nawrocki resigned from his position on November 24th, 2022, and Woicki was appointed as the new head coach by WKS Czarni Radom S.A. He made his debut in the new role on December 4th, 2022, in an away match against Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
Before becoming the head coach of Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom mid-season in 2022/2023, Woicki had coaching experience. He was the assistant coach of the senior men’s national team of Poland from 2018-2021 and led the Polish team to a silver medal at the Summer Universiade in 2019 as the head coach. Additionally, Woicki won the Hubert Wagner Memorial with the Polish national team in 2021. He was also part of the coaching staff of the German women’s national team, whose head coach is Vital Heynen.
