Brazilian/Cuban outside hitter Yoandy Leal has quickly found a new home with Halkbank Ankara after leaving Lokomotiv Novosibirsk. Halkbank, a powerhouse and top contender in the Turkish league, is gearing up for important match against league leaders Ziraat this weekend.
Leal, 36, brings a wealth of experience from clubs in Russia, Brazil, and Italy as well as a decorated international career with Brazil. His addition strengthens Halkbank’s push for trophies in both the Turkish Championship and Champions League.
The team is also rumored to be signing Russian standout Egor Kliuka, further bolstering their roster for the season ahead.
