The 49-year-old Frenchman has built a remarkable coaching résumé, starting with Poland’s national team, which he led to World Championship gold in 2014 and a World Cup bronze in 2015. He later took charge of Canada, guiding them to a World League bronze medal, and also coached Onico Warszawa to a Polish league silver.
