Numia Vero Volley Milano has strengthened their roster with the arrival of Li Yingying, one of China’s top volleyball talents. The 25-year-old outside hitter joins the Italian league and the CEV Champions League for the first time, becoming the club’s first-ever Chinese player.
Li Yingying brings an impressive résumé from her decade with Tianjin Bohai Bank, where she earned multiple MVP honors, seven Chinese Super League titles, and podium finishes at the Club World Championship. She has also been a contributor to China’s national team, collecting medals at the Volleyball Nations League, the 2018 World Championship, and the 2019 World Cup.
Expected in Italy on December 1 pending medical tests, Li shared her excitement about the move: “I’m happy to join Milano and eager to get started.”
