Igor Gorgonzola Novara signed Kaja Grobelna for the 2026/27 season.
Kaja Grobelna returns to Italy after spells in Japan and Turkey, where she recently won the 2026 CEV Cup with Galatasaray.
Grobelna is no stranger to Serie A, having previously played for Busto Arsizio and Chieri across seven seasons. During her time at Chieri, she captained the club and won the Wevza Cup, Challenge Cup and CEV Cup, while earning MVP honors in 2024.
“I’m excited to come back to Italy and join such an ambitious club,” Grobelna said.
Novara general manager Enrico Marchioni said the club expects Grobelna’s experience, leadership and quality to strengthen the squad next season.
