Eczacıbaşı Dynavit added German middle blocker Camilla Weitzel and Bulgarian opposite Iva Dudova to their roster as part of the club’s preparations for the upcoming season.
Weitzel, 25, joins after playing for clubs in Germany and Italy, including Dresdner SC, Chieri ’76, Vallefoglia, and Savino Del Bene Scandicci. The 195-centimeter middle blocker has won domestic and international titles such as the German Bundesliga, German Cup, CEV Challenge Cup, CEV Cup, and FIVB Club World Championship.
The German international also represented her country at major tournaments including the Volleyball Nations League, European Championship, World Championship, and Olympic qualifiers.
Eczacıbaşı Dynavit also secured the signing of 19-year-old Bulgarian talent Iva Dudova. The 198-centimeter opposite hitter arrives from Maritza Plovdiv, where she claimed multiple Bulgarian League and Cup titles while competing in the CEV Champions League.
