French star Benjamin Toniutti has been unveiled as the newest player of Ziraat Bankkart Ankara, signing a one-year contract with the Turkish club after spending 11 seasons in Poland.

The veteran setter arrived in Polish PlusLiga in 2015 with ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and later joined JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel. During his successful spell in Poland, Toniutti won numerous honors, including the CEV Champions League, five league titles, four Polish Cups, and four Super Cups.
Ziraat Bankkart welcomed the 36-year-old with an official announcement, praising his leadership qualities and wealth of experience at the highest level of the sport.
A long-time cornerstone of the French national team, Toniutti represented Les Bleus from 2010 until retiring from international volleyball in April 2026.
The move sees one of Europe’s most decorated setters begin a new challenge in Türkiye ahead of the upcoming season.
