Canoas published on their Facebook page that the cycle with Fronckowiak has been closed after he came to the club in 2015 from the Russian side Dinamo Krasnodar.

Canoas did not reveal reasons for saying goodbye to Fronckowiak, who became an assistant coach to Renan Dal Zotto in the Brazilian Men’s National Team, in February, but emphasized they “opened the doors for the coach’s return to Brazilian volleyball in 2015, and it was from here that Fronckowiak was summoned to be an assistant with the Brazilian National Team”.

Bruno Voloch from “Estadão Esportes” revealed the real reason why Canoas parted ways with the coach was a reduced budget for 2017/2018. Last season it was 2 million Reals (550,000 Euros), but now, it is reduced by 30%.
