The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) decided to award the organization of the 2019 Men’s Club World Championship to India, but still awaits a response from the volleyball federation of an Asian country to officially announce the hosts of the tournament.

The response of an Indian Volleyball Federation to the FIVB in regard to organizing the 2019 Men’s Club World Championship should happen next week, Web Vôlei reported. The FIVB expects a positive answer as they aim to gain more space in the huge consumer market in that part of Asia.

In case India accepts to host the event, the next step will be to confirm the city that will organize the tournament, which will likely be Chennai, and date when it will be played, which is likely in December.

If the Asian country gives a negative response, the FIVB will open a bidding process to organize the 2019 Men’s Club World Championship between federations of Brazil and Italy. Because of a signed contract, the Women’s tournament will be played in China again.

The Italian side Itas Trentino are the reigning titleholders in the Men's competition, while the Turkish VakıfBank lifted the trophy in the Women's competition last year.

ITALIAN CUP M: Verona and Piacenza disappoint once again

Piacenza will not have a good year with Hierrezuelo setting. He arrived unprepared and cannot set the front pin hitters and bic at all. Cleverly and Russell have no idea where those sets are going to be. The libero Scanferla is young and the staff is asking him to pass too much of the court.
Gardini is not leading this team in the right direction. Look for another setter quickly. Heck try Shaw there at this point.
Talent is wasting here.
