The team that led the race for the title in the French Men’s Volleyball Championship at the moment of the cancelation of the season due to coronavirus pandemic, Tours, made a very big transfer move.

Tours hired 2.17m tall former Brazil National Team member, Renan Buiatti, for the next season.

There’s a huge chance that a 30-year-old opposite hitter will be the tallest player in the 2020/21 French Championship. The three-time South American Championship winner Renan was the second-best scorer in the last Brazilian Championship with Vôlei Renata.

This transfer came only a few days after Tours announced the arrival of Bosnian setter Željko Ćorić from Sète.

Great investment suffering under poor coaching and management ! Every season some injured players transferring to that club. A nice corruption point ! Reply

This is just the proof how long are promises honored in professional volleyball. Last year Lube said that Stankovic, belowed El Capetano, will be coming back next year when he obtain Italian citizenship, he's been with Lube for 10 years, and we want him back. Reply
