From the moment Zhu decided to return to play in her home country next season, media related to volleyball started to speculate about the name of the team in which she will play. And, two months ago, three clubs emerged as favorites to sign MVP of the 2016 Rio Olympics, 2017 CEV Champions League and 2017 FIVB Club World Championship.
Zhu’s choice has allegedly fallen on Tianjin, Sina reported! The transfer is not official yet, but according to the news agency, it is only a matter of a day when the deal will be finalized.
Tianjin are 11-time Chinese champions and five-time Asian Club Championship winners. The title in the latter competition, which they won in May this year, secured Tianjin a berth at the 2019 FIVB Club World Championship.
