In a delayed match of the 11th round of the 2020/21 Polish Women’s TAURON Liga regular season, Chemik made a turnaround against Developres from 0-2 to 3-2. Partially, it was 23-25, 17-25, 25-19, 25-16, and 15-13.
This encounter was considered a true derby, given these were the two best teams of the previous season. Developres continued in the same style this season as well (they are still leaders), while Chemik are waking up in the last month, recording the fourth consecutive victory, which put them in fifth place in the charts.
Serbian Jovana Brakočević-Canzian highlighted the winning side with 26 points, while Agnieszka Kąkolewska set up 7 blocks. Martyna Grajber had 92 % reception (13 digs, 69 5 perfect). Canadian Kiera Van Ryk scored 22 points for Developres.
