The Turkey National Team swept Bosnia and Herzegovina in its first match in the qualifications for the 2021 Men’s EuroVolley. At the same time, Turkey inflicted the second defeat to Bosnia in Pool C in Skopje (3-0: 25-15, 25-17, 25-18) ahead of tomorrow’s clash against the hosts North Macedonia for a provisional leadership in the pool. Burutay Subaşı stood out on the winning side with 19 points, including 6 aces.
Apart from Pool C, the competition started in one more pool, in Pool B in Hadera, Israel. Mostly thanks to Alexander Berger (15 points) and Florian Georg Ringseis (89 % reception; 18 digs, 56 % excellent) Austria downed hosts in straight sets on Day 1.
