Zhu
For years people have been telling volleyball tales about a young girl from China who were about to write a new page in the history of this sport. Her name is Zhu Ting.
Zhu has been playing in the Chinese Championship since the last summer. She was far away from the European or American volleyball fans, however everyone knew that there is an extremely talented girl in China. After all, she has been a member of the Chinese national team for some time, so people could watch her playing on various major tournaments.
Zhu knew that she was good,.. Very good. But, she has never wanted to show off or to put herself in front of the team. She has been working hard over the years preparing for the most important tournament in her career – Rio Olympics.
And you all know what happened there.
China won the gold medal, while Zhu Ting was named the MVP of the tournament.
The prophecy was true. Zhu Ting was really meant to achieve huge things in her volleyball life.
At the end of the year, Chinese star got another prestigious recognition. You chose her to be the WoV Player Of The Year. The best possible way to finish the journey in 2016.
