It was obvious that the high stake of this game had influence on both sides. There was a lot of mistakes, especially from the service line. Nevertheless, Brazil and France did create an amazing volleyball spectacle.

Brazil were twice in the lead – 1:0 and 2:1 in sets, while the hosts managed to end this game in the moment when it looked like that the tie-break is inevitable. France were up ahead by 23:21 in the 4th set, but then Brazil scored 4 points in a row and won the set and the match by 25:23, 3-1 in sets.

Brazil will play against Argentina in the quarterfinals.
