The finalists of the 2017/18 Cypriot men’s volleyball championship OPAP A Division are determined.

Pafiakos

Pafiakos

The top-seed Green Air Pafiakos beat No.4 Anorthosis in Game 3 of the semifinals by a 3-1 (23-25, 25-22, 25-15, 25-18) to win the series 4-1 (playoff series started with a tie, 1-1, as each team has one win against the other one in mutual encounters in the regular season).

Just like last season, Pafiakos will face Omonia in the finals. The defending champions and the second-seed Omonia secured their berth in the series for the gold medal as they swept No.3 Nea Salamina in the semis, winning the series 4-0 (2-0 in the playoff series + 2-0 in the regular season).

Pafiakos and Omonia played each other two times in the regular season with Pafiakos prevailing in straight sets in both occasions. This means Pafiakos sets off the best-of-seven final series with a 2-0.
