A cracking performance from French players in the first two sets was enough to take the last spot at the FIVB World League 2017 semifinals.

France have managed to beat Serbia in five sets 3-2 (25-21, 25-20, 17-25, 18-25, 15-11), even though they were close to drop the 2-0 lead! But, after the first and second set, France have lost the interest in this game, as they booked the place in semis.

Simply, the Serbian side didn’t know how to stop the French servers, who were destroying them during the first two sets. The setters of Serbia had a lot of difficulties to organize the attacks after such serves…

Anyway, Team Yavbou won the game to take the first place in Pool K and they will meet Canada in the semis. Serbia, who won the last year’s edition of the FIVB World League, goes home.

Top scorers: Boyer 21, Ngapeth 14 – Atanasijevic 18, Petric 18
