At the end of the 2015/2016 season, the 65-year-old Romanian Stelian Moculescu will finish his 40th year as a coach. And it turned out to be his last in career.

“I have always listened to the feeling from my gut. It just feels right to walk away after this season,” said the coach of German VfB Friedrichshafen, since 1997.

With this club, he took 13 national titles, same number of national Cups and one trophy which was the most valuable – in the CEV Champions League (2006/2007). While working in Germany and in Austria, he took 45 trophies overall!

Besides coaching Friedrichshafen, Moculescu is currently at helm of Romania’s National Team. A successor of Mocuslesu at both positions is yet unknown.
