This year, in March, Giulio Sabbi signed the contract with the French team Tours after becoming the champion of China with Shanghai.
Tours were stopped in semifinals of the French playoffs by the future champions, Paris Volley with 2-1 in wins. In these games, Sabbi recorded 49 points.
