Saeid Marouf – the best setter ? Is it a joke ?
Dmitriy Muserskiy isn’t as good as Piotr Nowakowski.

And about Marouf and Muserkiy , Go and check their volleyball resume , Nowakowsky is great but not comparable with Muserkiy ( The one who won Brazil at London 2012 lonely by changing post from middle blocker to opposite hitter although he had no Cup and 2014 as nowakowsky didn’t have it too )
Marouf and Drzyzga , both great setters but as u see Marouf was best setter of world league 2014 however its worthier than euro Champions league , In addition He got champions with Zenit kazan in Euro champions league and Russia super league .
So please go and check their Resume and talk with information .
Everyone who have voted Marouf I suppose they have never setters like De Cecco and Bruno Rezende. And then, Sayed Mousavi who??? Just kidding, I know Mousavi is a good MB and I like him, but what about Robertlandy Simon? Any person with a minimum of common sense knows that Simon is better than him.

Poland won the championship 2014, yes, but that was ages ago! all the actions and matches and domestic leagues should get denied because of Poland WCH?! it’s not reasonable!
look at these players! they are -almost- won some trophies! 3 zenit players-winners of champions league -, 1 from halkbank, 1 from champions of iran league,…
they are all champions!
and ofcourse! we all love our own national team! doesn’t mean other people have to like them to!
I know, that Muserskiy is a fantastic player, but that dream team is for SEASON 2014/2015, NOT for season 2012/2013 or other.
What trophy Muserskiy won in THAT SEASON? Don’t write about Olympic Games in London in 2012, it wasn’t in THAT season.
He didn’t win Russian League in THAT season, he didn’t win Champions League (and didn’t win any individual prize) in THAT season, he didn’t win the World Championship in THAT season.
And meanwhile, Nowakowski won Polish League in THAT season, he took second place in the Champions League in THAT season (and won the award for the Best Blocker), he won the World Championship in THAT season.
The fact that he’s not in the dream team is not a misunderstanding – this is a scandal. He deserved to be in this ranking, unquestionably.
Kłos also should be in that dream team. Mousavi is a great player, but, unfortunately, hardly anyone watching the Iranian league, so we don’t know how he really plays.
The next example? Wlazły. World Championships MVP, recently awarded as the best volleyball player in the world. And Sokolov win with him. For what? He didn’t get to the Final Four in Champions League in THAT season and he didn’t achieve anything at the World Championships in THAT season.
People don’t look at names, only for the achievements in THAT season.
If we consider the season 2014/2015 I don’t understand why there hasn’t been selected ANY Polish player.
I believe that such voting does’t have sense, because it is a popularity contest, not a serious voting.
The editors of WoV should create their own dream team, not suggesting the result of that voting.
My dream team:
Marouf – Wlazły – Leon – Juantorena – Salparov – Nowakowski – Kłos.
As Sayed Mousavi said , ‘ Simon and Holt are my favorites in their skills and techniques, but Muserskiy because of his stature is separatable with all others and can not be compared ‘. Selecting Muserskiy is fair but Mousavi is the king and Marouf is the best <<<<<<<<<<3. In WCH2014 number of killing blocks and rebounds of Mousavi was two times greater than Muserskiy ( about 56 vs 27 in both) but he could not won the prize because Iran could not qualify for F4. Nowakowski !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You’ re right, but I can tell, that Drzyzga and Nowakowski got awarded in Champions League. Marouf won, beacause he is in more popular and better club : ). I think this talk has no sense.
In a comment I saw some people didn’t know mousavi won club championship of iran in Peykan at 2015 .
In addition I must to say the world best sport man of year 2014 Mariuz Wlazly absolutely must be in this dream team instead of Sokolov .
I offer WOV or FIVB to choose the best of each post by the critics and experts and coaches of volleyball every year , as for football it happens .
When volleyball is most popular in Olympics with a great distance to other sports it deserved to pay attention more by FIVB
